The Set Sail Collection

The Set Sail Collection has certainly taken on a life of its own since 2020 when I started creating it.

Now featured and mentioned in Hello!, Norfolk Magazine and Sussex Life magazines, this fleet of work has only four paintings left, worldwide, available for the public! I had no idea, as quoted by art dealer Fraser Kee Scott, that it is 1 in 1000 that an artist sells out a collection.

I just wanted to thank all those who have supported me in this quest to bring these rare and royal pre-1930s schooners into the world of contemporary art where I have utilised all my styles as an artist: illustration, impression and cubism. Cubism being very much an influence, not from Georges Braque (renowned for such a style) but my grandfather, Raymond de Longueuil. Raymond was a prolific artist residing in the South of France. An 11th century town where he used to paint in the foothills of the Pyrenees. I wanted to paint something royal, not just for the Jubilee, but to commemorate his mother, my great grandmother who was the first cousin to the Queen Mother - Ernestine Bowes Lyon.

Thank you for all my collectors and for all the magazines that have featured my work. I look forward to launching my second Set Sail Collection.
